A downloadable game

In Hardtrace, you'll experience a frantic battle of skill with your friends. Find out what it's like to drive a tracer in the narrow alleys of a dynamic maze where constant change is the only certainty. Can you split your brain and guide your tracer along the fastest route to valuable points, or have you decided to score points the other way (nah). Your greedy friends will have to beware, as a fearless challenger enters the arena..

Goals:

My core goals of project are:

  • Better play-ability based on previous web based game with same control and  new stuning technology.
  • Better VFX experience (shaders (fog, electric shocks, lights)).
  • Better performance on all platforms my goal is 60+FPS on any PC with reasonable gaming GPU.
  • 4k gaming support (big TV screens for better couche gaming)
  • Better User Interface, easy to understand
  • New mechanics to game (i have lot of ideas)
  • Local LAN multiplayer (for more players together with services like Zerotier or Hamachi, etc.... I currently not planing online servers now) 
  • Hybrid multiplayer (more players on same LAN client)
  • 8 players + (based on my testing during development, i will target to more than 8).

Extra goals (I'll see if that makes sense for me):

  • Using your Mobile phones like a wifi controller with some + features. (for those of you, who dont own gamepads)
  • using of UPnP API (for better NAT conectivity)

Stay tuned. I will add soon new project info. The game will come out at a reasonable price depending on the difficulty of development.
